Subcontractor Meeting

Subcontractor Meeting

Walsh Construction held a meeting for Women and Minority Owned Business Enterprises (WMBE) looking to work as subcontractors on the Liberty Bank Building project. In total, between 25-30 people showed up for the evening and it was encouraging to see the excitement for the project. As part of the memorandum of understanding signed between the community partners, “CHH will work with the partners and other community partners to identify Black-owned subcontractors. The project will also recognize the goals of the City of Seattle’s ‘priority hire’ program.” The partners set a minimum WMBE subcontracting goal of 21% of the $12,000,000 worth of subcontracting work on the project.

If you are interested in working on the project, contact Sandi Tovias, Project Manager, at stovias (at) walshconstructionco.com
